Bring your previous diary into GoGroomPets.
Moving your grooming diary does not have to mean entering every appointment again. Upload a one-off ICS calendar or appointment CSV, review the preview and choose the entries to bring into the right business site.
Included in Lite and FullCheck before importing
A preview helps you choose what to bring across.
Sample preview only. A preview does not reserve diary time.
Two formats for different needs
ICS calendar events become busy periods. Structured appointment CSV rows can retain the appointment's times and agreed price.
Review before committing
Check the preview for ready entries, conflicts and duplicates. Select the entries you want to import; a preview does not reserve times.
Keep the receiving site clear
Choose the site, date range and receiving groomer before importing. Use the same calendar name for repeat uploads.
ICS calendar events or structured CSV appointments?
Use an ICS file when you want existing calendar events represented as busy periods in the diary. Those entries protect time without turning an event title into a customer account or a fully described grooming booking.
Use the downloadable appointment CSV template when you have structured appointment details. Prepare your export to match that template and check the agreed prices before importing. A Manager must import rows containing prices; staff can import busy periods or a CSV without prices.
A deliberate move, with a chance to check
Choose a date window and preview the file before you apply it. Each import supports up to 1,000 entries, a 2 MB file and a 180-day date range. Check the receiving groomer and local appointment times, then import the selected entries that are ready.
The import does not create customer accounts, take deposits or payments, collect agreements, or send customer messages. Recent import history includes an undo option for unchanged imported records; records with later changes, notes or payments are preserved.
This is a one-off upload. It does not keep GoGroomPets connected to Google Calendar, Outlook or your previous booking system. Later changes need to be made deliberately in the diary or brought across in another checked upload.
A few clear steps.
Prepare the file
Export an ICS calendar or prepare an appointment CSV using the in-app template. Choose a clear calendar name.
Preview in the right site
Select the date window and receiving groomer. Review local times, prices, duplicates and conflicts.
Import your selected entries
Apply the ready entries you have checked, then review the diary and recent import history.
Your questions, answered.
Can I import a calendar from another system?
You can upload an ICS file or an appointment CSV prepared to match the GoGroomPets template. Whether your current system can export those files depends on that system. GoGroomPets does not connect to it continuously.
Will importing send messages to my customers?
No. The import does not send customer messages or create customer accounts, deposits, payments or agreements. You can check the imported entries in your diary before deciding on any further action.
What happens if I upload the same calendar again?
Use the same calendar name and review the new preview. Duplicate entries are identified, and duplicates are skipped when applying the import. Review conflicts and select only the ready entries you want.
Can I undo an import?
Recent imports include an undo option for unchanged imported records. An appointment with later changes, notes or payments is preserved, so undo is not a complete rollback of work performed afterwards.
